Carolina Beach Delivers Fun in the Sun
Carolina Beach Delivers Fun in the Sun

Snow's Cut Monthly is your Key to Pleasure Island

I love Carolina Beach and all of Pleasure Island and have made many trips to enjoy the sun, sand and surf the area has to offer. The beaches are great, the people are nice and with Kure beach, Fort Fisher, the Carolina Beach State Park and one of North Carolina's three aquariums, there is always something to do.

My only problem is that I live in Raleigh so it is hard to keep up with what is going on down at the coast 2.5 hours away. Ahhh but there is a solution known as Snow's Cut Monthly or SCM for short.

SCM is a local magazine published monthly by Mike and Janet Hoffer. The magazine is distributed throughout Pleasure Island for free and can be mailed anywhere for just $22 a year. They also have a web site listed below in the links section.

Snow's Cut Monthly has great articles that keep you in touch with what is going on at Pleasure Island and what the area was like in the past. With the revitilaziton of the Central Bordwalk Business Area and all the new construction there is a lot to write about and any property owner should be plugged in to their site or magazine.

I for one am very thankful for this publication. One of the best features of the magazine during peak travel months is the Vacation Guide. The guide is chalk full of information about the area, things to do and places to eat, drink and shop. Oh and I may have mentioned that it is FREE. So anyone that is visiting Carolina Beach, Kure Beach or Fort Fisher, be sure to grab your FREE copy on the way in at one of the many merchants in the area that display the magazine, you won't be dissappointed.
